Bringing Business-Quality Training to Education Professionals

thumbframe02

Rick Rood brings to your organization 20 years of experience and passion for working with children and youth, and mixes it with best practices, motivational élan, and cutting-edge theories and paradigms- inspiring, motivating, and training you and your staff to be the best that they can be for those who matter most: the children and youth served by your organization.

Quality Begins With Who You Bring to Work

At the core of Rick’s training and consulting is the YOU.  Success begins with the person you are and the person you are becoming. Rick’s approach to adult learning fuses the how- the skills and knowledge- with the why- the underlying causes of our own motivations and actions.  Drawing from a wide variety of behavioral and philosophical underpinnings (NLP, Transactional Analysis, Taoist thought), Rick’s trainings provide a unique, “out of the box” perspective while staying grounded in the familiar earth of best practices and current early childhood and school-age theory.

Knowledge is NOT Power.  Applied Knowledge is.

Having knowledge and skill is a good thing.  But it is just the beginning.  Rick, through his workshops and consultations, helps stakeholders, participants, and professionals understand that only through motivated application of knowledge can excellence be achieved.
